Lockwood Volunteer Fire Company Incorporated

Lockwood Fire Company is dedicated to providing the highest possible degree of emergency service to the community, to provide confinement and suppression of fire as well as to prevent the loss of life and property. Lockwood Fire Company will respond to all requests for emergency assistance within its jurisdiction, as well as calls for mutual-aid in accordance with the Tioga County Mutual-Aid Plan, or any contracted areas. While the primary purpose of the Fire Company is fire suppression, it will engage in public education and fire prevention activities. In addition to fire alarms, the Fire Company will respond to emergency and community service calls and accepts this responsiblity, within its levles of training and experience. All incidents that are beyond the level of training and capability of this organization will be dealt with through the use of additional technical and physical resources, such as the assistance from the Tioga Co Haz-Mat advisory team (Emergency Managment Office) and the Greater Valley Emergency Ambulance Service.
